Cookie & storage policy
A practical explanation of what the current application stores in your browser, and how shared links and downloaded results differ from tracking cookies.
Last updated
1. Current application behavior
The current calculator code does not set cookies, localStorage or sessionStorage entries, use advertising identifiers, install tracking pixels or embed analytics. It has no sign-in session, shopping basket or advertising-consent preference to save. Inputs stay in the active page for calculation. This describes the current calculator application and does not describe storage used independently by your browser extensions or other websites.
2. Cookies and similar storage
Cookies are small values a website can ask a browser to store and send back with later requests. Local and session storage let application code keep data in the browser. These mechanisms can support necessary functions or optional tracking, depending on their purpose. The current application does not use them for either purpose. Ordinary browser caching of scripts, styles and images helps load pages and is controlled by the browser and delivery settings; it is not an age-history feature.
3. Other copies on your device
A #age= fragment can persist in history or a shared link. Copy buttons place selected information on the clipboard. Download buttons save a PNG result or CSV chart, and Print can create a paper or PDF copy. Browser synchronization, clipboard history and cloud print/download destinations may retain these copies. They are user-initiated outputs, not a hidden tracking store maintained by this calculator. Deleting cookies does not necessarily delete these separate records.
4. Providers and future changes
If the website introduces cookies or another storage mechanism, this policy will be updated to explain the purpose, provider and lifetime of that storage. Optional analytics, ads or similar features are not enabled in this version; if introduced, any legally required information and choice must be provided before those technologies are used. There is no optional tracking to enable or disable in the current version.
5. Your controls and questions
Your browser settings can clear history, cached files and website storage; your device settings control clipboard and file retention. Removing the fragment from a URL stops that URL from restoring a shared age but does not remove copies already sent to others. Blocking all browser features can affect some websites, while this calculator does not require optional cookies. Email websiteaftersales@gmail.com if you observe unexpected storage or requests and include the page and browser involved. The Privacy policy explains messages and infrastructure data separately.
